DANCE HOME is founded by 2 graduates of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), Ms Lam Siu-yin and Dicky Tsang Tsz-kin in 2000. It is a self-reliance art-production dance group. It contains a group of dedicated young persons ranging from primary, secondary, students and graduates of HKAPA. From ideas creation, planning, promotion, marketing, ticketing, rehearsal and performance, every step is wholly in-charged by the group member themselves without contracted out. DANCE HOME believes that the process of participation in production is a most valuable experience for the members to look into what the performing arts is and release their potential. DANCE HOME 4 years in a row to conduct the yearly inter-school project, outreaching dance programme and produced a finale annual performance - "Toes-in" since 2001. Furthermore, DANCE HOME was also periodically invited to take part in the performance of the art promotional programmes which are organized by Leisure and Cultural Services Department at Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Kwai Tsing Theatre, ShatinTown Hall, Yuen Long Theatre for lobby show of dance demonstrative showing and explanation. Besides, it also participated at the Open Day of Kwai Tsing Theatre for dance showing. The mission and vision of DANCE HOME is to help the young persons to explore and develop their potential by creating more multi-dimensions productions with variable elements.
